INTERIOR FEATURES
The entry foyer with tile flooring is fully equipped to handle the needs
of those coming and going—coat hooks and a built-in bench for changing
in and out of boots. The light taupe walls are accented by Southwestern
art.
The living room, dining room, and kitchen have an open flow for easy
socializing. Painted exposed beams add a warm mountain touch. Berber
carpet covers the living room and dining room area. Glass sliding doors
(equipped with vertical blinds) open to a deck with views of trees and
distant mountains.
It’s easy to envision the gang gathering around the woodburning fireplace.
Two cedar walls are whitewashed for an updated look. A sofa (that
transitions to a queen bed), matching love seat, and leather chair—all
in soothing shades of green—are grouped around a large, white-washed
coffee table. Other furnishings include a sofa table, end tables, a book
shelf, and a leather and fabric ottoman in a western motif. Track
lighting highlights Southwest art and iron candle sconces. A Toshiba TV
and Magnavox VHS provide entertainment.
A lovely French bronze and glass chandelier is suspended above a large
dining table. A dark wood buffet table trimmed in iron with modern
painting above, completes the dining room furnishings. A window with
wood blinds fills the area with extra light.
A bar with two wrought iron chairs with seat cushions separates the dining
room and kitchen. It is here that you’ll catch breakfast on the run or
gather to chat while preparing dinner.
The open, u-shaped kitchen features recessed lighting, tile flooring, oak
cabinetry, and ample counter space. A pantry enables you to stay
well-stocked during your stay.
Appliances include a Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer, Sharp microwave, GE
electric range & oven with Broan stainless hood, and GE dishwasher.
Accessed from the hallway are two closets—one lockable owner’s closet and
a handy laundry closet with a stackable Whirlpool washer and dryer.
Bedroom #1 features views of a hillside filled with bright wildflowers in
the summer and covered in sparkling snow in the winter. White wood
blinds provide the window coverings. An oak chest of drawers with iron
hardware matches the queen bed and two bed tables. A double closet and
Southwest art completes the scene.
A well-lit vanity with large counter is separate from the rest of the
bath. The wood cabinetry is cream-colored. Opposite the vanity is still
another closet. The tub/shower, commode, and lockable closet are behind
a door. The floor is tile and a window adds light and peeks out to views
of the Rim Trail.
Bedroom #2 also has lovely views of the open hillside. The kids will love
staying here in the two twin beds with carved wood headboards and
dressed in bold navy, cobalt and kelly green bedding. A dresser with
mirror matches the bed table.
EXTERIOR FEATURES
This end unit borders open space for extra light, privacy and hillside
views.
A sliding glass door connects the living room to your own private
balcony with mountain views and a Sunbeam gas grill.
COMPLEX AMENITIES
You’re only steps away from the complex’s gorgeous sun-soaked pool,
sparkling hot tub and free shuttle stop.
Just past the edge of the lush common lawn is one of Snowmass Village’s
wonderful all-season paved trails. The Melton Ranch trail, and the
network of trails it connects to, will take you on a short stroll to the
grocery store, on a vigorous hike up to the Snowmass Rim Trail, or on a
long bike ride all the way to Aspen.
The complex is served directly by the free Snowmass Shuttle service for
quick access to the ski area, the new Base Village, hiking trails, golf,
tennis, horseback riding, shopping, and dining. It’s also near a stop
for the valley-wide RFTA bus service.
DISCLOSURES
Exterior renovation and grounds work scheduled to begin April 2009
(currently in the TOSV approval process.) New units will be developed
and sold to offset renovation costs. It is the board’s goal to be “cost
neutral” for the work being done. See listor for details.
